It was very valuable learning about the DRE ABCD as this is taught quite differently in my previous country that I lived in especially to do with infant and youth CPR (5X15x2). I understand that we were rushed for time but if a person has not completed this course or relevant materials before I would suggest more time spent on practical CPR skills because there are a lot of factors that come into it - such as pressure, method, broken ribs ect. But otherwise the instructor was extremely knowledgeable and I learnt so many new things that I have never come across before.

The training provided comprehensive guidance on workplace safety, manual handling, and resuscitation procedures. It effectively emphasized the importance of maintaining a safe working environment, assessing risks, and using correct lifting techniques to prevent injury. Practical demonstrations on posture, use of mechanical aids, and team lifting were particularly valuable in reinforcing safe manual handling practices. The resuscitation component was highly informative, offering essential life-saving skills such as assessing responsiveness and performing CPR. This part of the training increased confidence and preparedness to respond effectively in emergency situations.
