CSTF Mandatory Training (1/2 Day Practical) Reviews

This course was probably informative for carers/ healthcare . Definitely not a course for highly trained educated knowledgeable registered nurses. I have moving and handling passport NHS which is more in depth and J feel was a more informative course. I didn't feel the course leader had a lot of knowledge and some of her knowledge and practice not up to date.

Trainer very rude and abrupt. Poor welcome and manners. Very disrespectful to many of us. Very poor trainer in terms of people skills.

Trainer was very good, she explained everything very demonstrating every time.

No wow factor

Poor venue, felt no air in there. Poor coffee/ tea facilities, only available once per day. Lecturer was abrupt at times, but had good knowledge.

The trainer was excellent The course is flawed as not suitable for doctors. I am a Consultant Psychiatrist and the course was way off in terms of relevance Most attendees seemed to be care assistants There was another doctor there who agreed with me fully This course of mandatory training needs to be done separately for doctors if it is to be of any practical use
