I attended CSTF Mandatory Training (1/2 Day Practical) delivered by Stephen Alvan. I would like to say that he is one of the best trainers I have had. Stephen made the course very engaging, even when explaining topics that can sometimes feel repetitive, such as manual handling techniques. He explained everything clearly and demonstrated practical breakaway techniques that were simple to follow and easy to apply, helping staff safely disengage and move away from physical aggression from patients or relatives. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to approach. He created a comfortable learning environment that made everyone feel confident practicing the skills in front of the class. I also really appreciated how kind and respectful he was to all participants. He even offered shy participants the opportunity to practice basic life support skills privately after the session, which showed great consideration for different learning styles. Overall, it was an excellent session and I learned a lot from him. Thank you, Stephen, for delivering such a valuable and engaging training.
