Steven is an exceptional safeguarding trainer. He explained every slide clearly and in detail, and he actively engaged all participants in meaningful discussions. Thanks to his teaching, my understanding of safeguarding has greatly improved.

Steven was an outstanding participant throughout the safeguarding course and demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism, engagement, and commitment to learning. From start to finish, he showed a genuine passion for safeguarding and a clear dedication to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of others. Steven actively contributed to discussions with insightful comments and thoughtful questions, showing a strong understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of safeguarding. He approached sensitive topics with maturity, empathy, and respect, creating a positive learning environment for everyone involved. What truly stood out was Steven’s ability to apply safeguarding principles to real-life scenarios. He showed excellent judgment, strong awareness of policies and procedures, and a clear understanding of reporting responsibilities. His confidence in recognising risks and taking appropriate action was evident throughout the course. Steven’s attitude was consistently positive, professional, and proactive. He worked well independently and as part of a team, supporting others and encouraging open discussion. His commitment to maintaining high safeguarding standards will undoubtedly have a positive impact in any setting he works in. Overall, Steven has gained a great deal from this course and is exceptionally well-prepared to uphold safeguarding responsibilities. He would be a real asset to any organisation, and I have no hesitation in highly recommending him.

The first handout we were given did not correspond to the presentation which was quite confusing. More discussion and activities around key components would have made the day more engaging. A lot to digest without much context or application to our jobs.

Not relevsnt as nhs and we are academia. Slides were allhealth care and not relevant. Content needs work for education

This was bastardised training aimed at adult social care. The presenter, as lovely as he is, didn’t know how to engage with educators or didn’t know much about the HE sector. This was not relevant and low quality.

Kevin was really knowledgeable and engaging. The way the session was delivered made it easier to retain the information. It was a really enjoyable day.

Kevin was fantastic at presenting the dilemmas of safeguarding / keeping us engaged in the subject/ being passionate There could have been a mixture of teaching methodologies used and a chance to bring one’s own case material for discussion
