Small changes can make a big difference. Engaging with these sessions regularly are good ways to make you stop and think about what you can do to improve your reaction to stress. Hopefully the force will continue to offer such training

This Course has been one of the least disappointing I have ever experienced. Everything was grounded in science and how to apply it in practical ways. It was at exactly the right pace and the sessions were exactly the right length. I have already recommended it to my colleagues and have shared the breathing techniques with a very anxious teenager that I am helping. I feel this sort of material should form part of a Wellness Guide that each and every police officer and member of police staff should receive upon joining Devon & Cornwall Police.

I really enjoyed the four sessions. All of them left me better equipped to empty the stress bucket. I also felt the level of information was good - not too advanced but a good grounding of how the brain works and reacts. I liked the relaxed, calm approach by Emma and her guided relaxations were refreshing... (although nearly fell asleep in the last one!)
