very relatable course, using easy to understand/attain strategies to help improve message delivery, and to understand/appreciate the aims/goals of the journalist. Involved a number of staged interviews, but these never felt uncomfortable or false
Really good session that makes you aware of how best to approach engagement with the media.
Indepth look at how to respond to media situations. Focusing in the key messages that you want to get across and how to revert back to those messaging points.
My key take away was that I knew my work u the course helped/is continuing to help my with my messaging to the public at large.
There is a lot more to how you present... maybe we are doing this for years... and we are good at it.. by taking this course, we get to know the real picture and we can get better at it.. Presenting, and interviews... they nail it in one...
Very informative, practice-based training with great feedback during the session itself, and great suggestions to take forwards.
I think the first section was repetitive to those on the team who have either done multiple sessions of media training, or who have worked in the industry for a number of years, but can appreciate why the content was in there. I really enjoyed the tips around location, microphone position and slating and pausing the audio recording. The tip sheet will be useful to share with our spox and storytellers and support them through recordings.

Useful tips for different types of interview and thorough preparation for interviews. The chance to practise answering questions in a supportive environment was really useful.
