Great training opportunity to gain confidence for media interviews
A little bit of theory with a lot of practical application and review
I felt at ease and comfortable from the start as I had been somewhat apprehensive as it had been some years since any official media training. The tutors especially Damian were very adept at enabling us to improve as we went along. They encouraged me, to be me with gentle coaching which really showed in my last two interviews. Not an easy subject to get across and some excellent tips. Loved the bridging and differences between good and bad. Worthwhile and the time flew by which is always a good sign. From start to finish, including Laura at base assisting with queries, it was a very hands on and positive experience. Thank you!
Really focused training and at the end of the training i definitely feel more confident in being able to handle questions i am not prepared for.
The training was very insightful on how to prepare for a radio or TV interview. There were lots of useful tips to help keep the interview on message and ways in which you can make that message more focused to reach an audience. The exercises were practical and helped me rehearse for interviews in a safe setting and then time to reflect on the learning from that experience and to adjust my response in a real time interview setting. This training was time well spent and delivered by experienced professionals who were able to show me and my colleagues techniques that upskilled us to be better prepared for when we're next asked to take part in an interview.

It was a solid reminder of the basics and things we need to keep in mind during an itw. I missed the start of the session but I would recommend listening to the examples and different feedbacks
Very useful - not just for tv/radio interviews but lots of transferrable skills. Enjoyed the way it was presented and Damian and Chris did a good job!
