Nilly is an excellent instructor. Patient and diligent. She gave a good overview, in a relatively short space of time, of a software tool that is massive. I have nothing negative to say about her delivery of this course. Personally, however I feel that this consecutive four day course is not for absolute beginners like me. I feel to cope with that amount of knowledge you need some residual knowledge of the software or something similar. It is too much to take in in that short a time. Absolute beginners like me should do the four days over four weeks, with plenty of practice time in between lessons, to allow it all to sink in before the next day of learning. I feel I would have progressed better this way.

I have experience of Adobe Premiere Pro, but no prior experience of Adobe After Effects, so was a complete beginner. I learnt a lot, but found it hard to copy/follow the instructor and take notes. Although we were provided with notes, we didn't seem to follow them in a logical order. It would have helped me if we followed a workbook, e.g. introduced to a specific topic, followed the instructor with an example and then completed our own exercise to ensure we had understood. Also, most of the questions in the exam were not covered in the course, although the practical examples were better but I ran out of time.

Really great teaching but the booking and event facilities were not the best. For the price I expected more from the facilities e.g. lunch provided and for booking there were issues which I heard from other colleagues previously. I also had to chase all pre course info.

Very good informative course with a great instructor

Ian was great - very knowledgeable and willing to assist wherever needed. The registration process was slightly frustrating, as I was not told until the Friday prior that my invoice had not been paid (and it was never sent to my workplace), which I was only told because I had followed up when I hadn't received information after extended correspondence.

The course tutor was really patient when explaining certain elements, especially if I struggled to follow. He used real life examples which were interesting and answered any general questions which related more to my specific job.

Iman taught the course very well. She kept the course fairly engaging which is useful for my short concentration span.

Very stimulating content and projects which opened up a range of capabilities within after effects that were new to me. Was really good to get the insight from someone who is experienced with after effects. Learnt a lot!

Very in depth and a good intro to after effects – learnt a lot even though I have been using after effects for a few months on and off... Highly recommended
