The admin' and organisation involved before the course began was chaotic, disruptive, disappointing and unprofessional. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Though the trainer was, obviously, knowledgeable and experienced with Adobe Captivate their skills at facilitating the transfer of that knowledge were lacking. I found some parts of the training incredibly frustrating because there was so little opportunity to practice and deploy the skills I was trying to acquire and next to no chance to review them. What started off as what i thought was going to be a very good course was ruined by the Wednesday. A very clear gap between the standard of people learning meant I was constantly playing catch up as everyone else had different learning techniques. First few days we were given the chance to draw/watch and make notes. Since then it was impossible to do anything as it was way too quick.Response : Hello Ross, We are so sorry to hear about your experience with the class, we take your comments very seriously and will investigate on what happened during your class. We do understand there is quite a bit of learning to take in over the 5 days and being in a group with other students, naturally means that everyone's learning speed will be different, that is why we encourage our students to ask questions and let the teacher know if they feel they are not keeping up with the class. As you know, we offer all our students the opportunity to re-take the class if it is necessary within 18 months, which is an option you should consider and make sure to ask plenty of questions the second time round! Personally I really struggled with this course. I found it hard to watch the instructor show what to do then remember where to find the icons. The course did cover what it set out to cover, but I felt it went quite fast for a complete novice.

I feel Gedi went a little too quick and used too much jargon specific to the product. I know an outline to be an outline, not a stroke etc. and I found that he was pretty quick, there's no doubting his knowledge on the product and his ability to navigate with his eyes closed but I'm not sure his training style was the best. on more than one occasion he shows us multiple ways to access and use the same element of InDesign which made things a little confusing... just show us one, it's easier.
