Cat was really lovely and seemed very open and approachable - her training style was good and I have no issues with Cat's delivery ... but in terms of the course itself, the course content and the knowledge shared, I think there are definite improvements that can be made going forward. There was information that maybe should have been shared, which wasn't, and which wasn't included in the powerpoint. The session finished over 2 hours earlier than it was due to finish - although it is worth noting that there were only 5 delegates in attendance, so an earlier finish may be expected. I don't feel.like this course was good value for money and would class it more as a "brief insight into thrache care" rather than anything more indepth. Also, while we did get to do a practical, this was very brief and was made up of inserting a tube and attaching tapes, inserting a suction catheter (with no suction machine attached and not done in a sterile way), and inserting an inner canula. We were invited to do this again at the end of the session if we wanted to, but this would have just been the same things again.
