This was a really informative and well run course. I have done previous ADOS training which didn't compare. The trainer was so knowledgeable, but also very reflective.

This course was great value for money. Carol provided excellent examples of how the questions in the booklet needed to be understood. I found Carol very personable and good at not making something seem as a silly question. There were various clinicians on this course at different levels and Carol ensured that everyone's needs and level of understanding was met. Gary was also helpful in providing clear instructions on how to access the material away from the sessions. Everything was well ran and professional. Overall I left the course with a good level of assessing for autism. I now need to build on my existing knowledge and practice.

I loved the course and it delivered exactly what I expected. I feel that I could now contribute to classification of autism or autism spectrum in a meaningful and reliable way. The course content was explained in a way to be extremely accessible. Carol was fabulous at explaining things in different ways until people understood. I also appreciated that equal attention was placed on people putting up hands and using the chat function. Thanks also to Gary.
I thoroughly enjoyed the course and have learnt so much. Carol and Gary were excellent. Carol's knowledge and expertise in the ADOS and ASI was clear to see and she was brilliant at communicating the content. Gary's explanation of the tasks was clear and having them shown clearly on Moodle was perfect.
I had the absolute best experience on this course, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have been taught by Dr. Carol Stott. Her depth of knowledge, clarity in teaching, and ability to make complex content accessible were truly outstanding. She is not only exceptionally knowledgeable but also a brilliant teacher whose passion for autism assessment and research shines through in every session. The training on both the ADOS-2 and ADI-R was incredibly comprehensive and well-structured. Dr. Stott guided us through each module with precision, providing rich clinical insights and practical examples that brought the material to life. Her expertise made the learning process engaging, and I now feel much more confident in applying these gold-standard tools in practice. I genuinely feel sad that the course has come to an end, but I sincerely hope to engage with Dr. Stott again in the future. I was advised the Gold Star Training for Becoming an Autism Assessor was done by Hogrefe and to wat until next course available to book. What starts as a completely daunting task of understanding the forms/ process etc, ends with new skills and ability to feel confident in starting a new area of work within Mental Health.
