This course was fantastic. I learnt so much over the course of the week - Carol clearly knows this area extremely well and was able to respond to an array of queries/discussions with really interesting answers/thoughts. Her approach was so sensitive and kind - she made everyone feel at ease and really took the pressure off to "get it right". I really appreciated that people weren't "put on the spot" and were free to participate in discussions/speaking in front of the group as much or as little as they felt comfortable doing. The online nature of the course really didn't take away from my learning - if anything i thought that it made for a more efficient week and enabled more flexibility with the tasks. I really liked the structure of the agenda where task time was set aside at the end of the day. I thought the coding activities were excellent - the ability to input my scores and get really thorough feedback in the form of a written report in relation to how my codes were similar/different to Carols was extremely helpful for my learning. I genuinely really enjoyed the week, found it so interesting and learnt so much. It has both inspired me and given me the confidence to get going with ADOS and ADI-R's. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone. Thank you Carol and Garry.

Thank you so much for an enjoyable, informative, useful and practical training week. I have come away with improved knowledge, some excellent clinical examples to use as anchor points for future assessments, and clear direction for practice improvement, both for me and the service I work in.

Solid, informative training, professionally delivered, well-crafted. In particular, I appreciated the trainer, Carol's insights, as she spoke very sensitively and directly about a very tricky topic! Carol clearly engages in reflexive practice and keeps her knowledge extremely up-to-date and allows her views and judgement to evolve based on current evidence, which I really appreciated. It's not easy to stay so current but it meant that her judgement, the information she shared and the way she taught us to make our own judgements as accurately as possible was grounded in quite current knowledge and perspective. I also found the organisation to be supportive, helpful and easy to get in contact with throughout the process. They answered my many questions beforehand which helped me get a sense of whether the course was right for me. Very glad I booked on. Massively pleased and impressed overall, it's well worth the investment, and a really trustworthy source to receive this training from. Would absolutely recommend this course to anyone who plans to assess adults, minorities, and highly masking populations.

I have found the course accessible, well-paced and informative, with lots of practical information and guidance on administering the ADOS and ADIr. I enjoyed being able to work flexibly and independently, then regroup and discuss - the remote format suited me well. The course has helped me to reflect on how I can develop my clinical skills on an ongoing basis and I feel it has been of great value.

Due to having Dyslexia at times I did struggle with the assessment process. However I do believe with practice overtime, this time will reduce, once I have got used to the questions and the context and what I am expected to consider, assess or not. Overall, really helpful.
