I really enjoyed this training and felt that it worked effectively via Zoom. Carol was a really engaging and knowledgeable trainer and the Moodle functions were a great addition in consolidating my learning from the course. I came to the training knowing very little about both the ADOS-2 and the ADI-R and now feel that I know a great deal more - I am very thankful for that. A big thank you to Carol and Garry and a special mention to all of the clients in the videos who gave their consent to being part of this course.

Was a bit overwhelming at first, just for the sheer intensity and amount of information that was needed to do both the ADOS and ADI-R - but Carol was really reassuring and containing and made the experience an helpful learning one.

Many thanks to Carol and Garry, the convenience of remote learning took a lot of stress away for me, although the course was online, it was still very interactive with plenty of opportunity to ask questions or add to any discussion that was taking place.

Really excellent course. Carol is a great trainer and I feel confident to administer both assessments. Great back and forth discussions to answer questions and Carol made it really easy to understand and very person centred. Thank you.

I thoroughly enjoyed the course and I feel far more confident now in working with service users who may be on the autism spectrum. The videos and the discussions post scoring proved valuable. I believe everyone who attended the course will have taken a lot from it. Carol has been an excellent trainer. Thank you.

I think the only thing that was 'missing' as it was an online course was the opportunity to practice administering the ADOS. I imagine had it been in person delegates would have been in pairs or groups to take it in turn to actually administer the ADOS. The only other comment is that at the beginning of Day 1 the trainers asked people to keep their cameras on, but some people never put theirs on, and as the course progressed more people had them off. I mostly kept mine on, and only turned it off if I needed to concentrate. But I then felt a bit 'exposed' as was aware that people could see me and I could not see them. I was tempted to keep mine off due to this and wonder if more people turned theirs off as the course progressed as others had? So, it might have been beneficial for the trainers to remind people of the etiquette of keeping their cameras on both for the benefit of the trainers to see people, and for the delegates.

Brilliant course, really well organised. Our learning was very well supported via guidance offered on how to access resources, alongside the tasks that were set to develop our skill in administering the ADOS/ADI-R.
