Safeguarding children is everyone’s responsibility, and at Level 3 it involves having the knowledge, confidence, and skills to identify risks, respond appropriately, and take action to protect children from harm. This includes understanding the different types of abuse (physical, emotional, sexual, neglect), recognising early signs, listening to the child’s voice, and applying professional curiosity.
