Great course just a bit wide in its coverage, something more granular would be nice but this would not be a good economic model for TTS given they need to attract students of all skill levels. However, I leaned a great deal and definitely expanded my knowledge, this was quite valuable to me and my career path!
The theory components are helpful but practicals even better. It would be more helpful to do more in class drills / practice than overly focus on surveys. I also find the core comprehensive course has a lot of information in a very condensed manner. If possible it would be helpful doing longer courses on specific areas - ie 2 day LBO course.
Steve is extremley knowelgeable and have been able to learn a lot!
Instructor was engaging and explained everything well. Format was good - practice throughout meant started learning shortcuts quickly.
I don't find the answers in the quiz particularly useful. It would be more helpful if they showed all the workings with the answer. Overall good course.
The course provided a very solid introduction to excel and related best practices; I would suggest to reduce some of the initial parts and add other important topics such as Pivot Tables
Had work calls and no place to take them - would be appreciated to find a room in the TTS office or find some arrangement with nearby company to have a conference room to use
I thought it was helpful to review how to compute shares and that whole part of the course. I thought Amit was good at checking in if people were still paying attention and not lost. However, I do think it would have been helpful to cover structuring concepts like when to use a shareholder loan vs. vendor note vs. liquidation preference to maximize returns.
Amit took time to explain all financial concepts, even the simplest ones. He made sure people were following the class and understanding the course.
