AI summary of reviews

Consistently engaging, knowledgeable trainers are the provider’s strongest feature: attendees say they make complex finance, accounting and Excel concepts clear, approachable and relevant through real-world examples, live demonstrations and hands-on model-building. They value the well-structured courses, practical workbooks, templates and follow-up resources, as well as patient answers and adjustments for different experience levels. The content often proves immediately useful at work, although its breadth can make some sessions feel intensive.

Felix is a great instructor and provided plenty of practice resources for LBO modeling. I’d suggest to spend more time on troubleshooting common LBO model issues like BS not balancing, different cash sweep formats, and also on analysis and interpretation of LBO results.

Generally speaking the course is informative and the instructor is very knowledgeable. Only thing is that the screen in the classroom is a bit small, and i can't read the contents well when sitting in the last row of the classroom. On top of that, the pace of the last session of the training is a bit fast (when going through the cash flow & debt schedule), it seems to me that this is more like a demonstration instead of a teaching/tutoring exercise, which is quite hard for a new learner like me to follow through and catch up the progress. It would be better if we can allow more time in between every hardcore concept/important instruction, and budget more time for the instructor to explain the rationale behind instead of rushing to go through everything and finish the syllabus on time.

I would say this course requires the student with basic financial knowledge. Otherwise, they may not understand the financial terms and can't follow the instructor. Excel keyboard shortcuts are useful.

Infrastructure modelling I do not believe is a particularly relevant subject area to cover given the brevity of the training. The rest of the content was useful and helpful.

Really good course, especially the fact that no question is silly. James told a lot about his experiences which was really helpful, as you can know the theory really good but in the end it is the real world where everything is happening. Those examples were great!

James' extensive knowledge about trading and the market was particularly useful. It gave me more insight of what is expected of us.
