A unique experience with a meaningful purpose. The activity was well designed and well delivered, with a good difficulty level to provide a challenge and encourage teamwork without being stressful or overwhelming. We really enjoyed this activity and would definitely recommend it.

Fantastic event hosts, felt like a worthwhile effort to achieve the end result to a good standard for the furry friends we created it for!

It was the best team building day I have ever done. I loved the fact the activity had purpose and was for the benefit of animal conservation, a cause that everyone in our company believes in. It was also great that the team building activity had no competitive element between teams which was a significantly more bonding experience than when we are pitted against each other (it doesn't bring out the best in everyone). In some cases it pushed people outside of their comfort zone but in a supported way, no-one felt foolish, and in fact enabled the more experienced/skilled members of the team to share their knowledge. It allowed everyone to shine in their different ways. The team delivering the event were all friendly, helpful and fun to work with. The whole experience was extremely fulfilling and enjoyable.

Our team had an amazing experience with the BITE team. When we first entered the room and saw power tools, saws, chains, etc. laid out on all the tables, many of us felt quite apprehensive about what we were going to be asked to achieve. When asked who had used a drill before, the majority of the team hadn’t, which didn’t fill us with confidence! We were shown a 3D image of the item we were expected to make, which was both helpful and initially a little intimidating. However, the BITE team are brilliant at encouraging you to step outside of your comfort zone and take on tasks you’ve never done before. As soon as we split into our teams, everyone got stuck in, and it was amazing to see people using the tools and growing in confidence throughout the session. The activity was extremely rewarding—we gained new skills, had the opportunity to support each other and share knowledge, and knew that we were making a positive impact on giraffe welfare. The BITE team were also very informative about how the item would support the giraffes in performing natural behaviours and serve as a long-lasting enrichment tool for the keepers to use for years to come. The next day, I received lots of positive feedback from the team, with many saying they were still “buzzing” from the experience. The BITE team delivered exactly what I was looking for—thank you!

We had a great day helping to building a new bird display area with new pulley poles, nesting and feeding areas, along with rotating display/perching areas at Woburn Safari Park. Everything was carried out safely and all the trainers were excellent - offering clear direction, practical tips and support whenever we needed it during the day. In all, it was an enjoyable and worthwhile experience for the entire team. Highly recommended!

Everyone on the event really enjoyed it and said it was one of the best team building activities we have done in the last few years, they loved the challenge, how it was well organised and there was enough for everyone to do in the groups without anyone being left out. Even better that we have been able to see the feeders we made in use at YWP and in other zoo's as well.
