It had been quite a while since I had done a first aid course and it had changed a lot. The course was delivered over 3 days and at a good pace and speed for you to take onboard all the relevant, to me , new stuff. It was made all the better by the way it was delivered by the trainer himself who was very good and always checked to ensure understanding of what he had delivered.

Kev was welcoming, friendly and engaging and delivered the information and skills with great enthusiasm and knowledge. I and many of my coursemates did feel that the course was rushed and condensed in to too short a time frame and due to this wouldn't necessarily feel confident in delivering some elements taught in real life situations, particularly life threatening injuries.

The powerpoint was dated and the interaction was low, it would have been useful to receive this prior to the course. The room utilised did not have wi fi and I arrived early but was not warned until the course started that I would need my personal phone, wasting time as we had to leave to get a phone signal. It was a good revision, marred in places by personal recollections but I did not learn anything new. My knowledge was good but this was not extended.

Hi I am not happy to this course. He harassing me. Also what resent failed. I am working sainsbury's 8 years. This is first time not happy.

Really informative & very enjoyable

Darren’s teaching approach is spot on! Kept everyone engaged and focused and made learning fun! His way of teaching is excellent and I really respect him for getting to know everyone and giving everyone time to learn. Darren also let us know multiple times that if we need further support then to let him know because he will adapt and make it work. Best trainer I’ve ever had and I’ve been attending first aid courses for 12 years!

Good to have contributions throughout course. Keeps you engaged

Darren made it really enjoyable across all 3 days, he kept us engaged the whole time and has made me feel confident in my knowledge.
