Very informative; learnt a lot. My only comment is that as this course was run during a working day, I noticed that some people had to break away and/or were combining listening to the trainer and also working to meet deadlines. Perhaps if the course could have been split in 2 more sessions that would have helped people more.
I really enjoyed this two part training course, it was very well planned out by having the knowledge/learning content in the first part, then having the opportunity to put your learning into play with a group of highly professional actors. I found the techniques used very effective in helping me understand my style of negotiation and the way I come across during a challenging conversation, and feel inspired having watched my colleagues carry these out as well. Lou was a very engaging presenter and I feel completely present when carrying out one of her training sessions. she makes everything easy to understand and comfortable when speaking to the group. Ellie and her team were amazing when acting out the scenarios and were very adaptable to our responses when acting these out. Great constructive feedback was given and I feel much more confident in the way I'd carry out addressing a challenging conversation as a result. thank you so much!
Lou is engaging, knowledgeable and GENUINELY LISTENS - when I say something often she references it and brings it back up later, she isn't one of those hmm yea... and it's just been lost in the void
Good to reflect on the different perspective Exercises to better understand someone else's viewpoint in a confrontation.
I enjoyed this module very much, the trainer (Lou) and the content were engaging with a great flow
Makes you really think about other people and their needs and the difficulties they come across.
Noticed longer break which was appreciated Emotional issues being difficult to understand it was good to see a "analytical" professional look at the subject
I believe that the course is really useful and will help going forward.
