Very thought provoking course. The Trainer was excellent & nothing was too much trouble for him, even disasters with PC's.

Course was informative and covered all topics required for a mental health first aider. Trainer was knowledgeable on all topics. Course was interactive and included groupwork which encouraged wider discussions.

Good course, well organized, practical and applied course

I really enjoyed the training, the environment was relaxed however the trainer was very professional and informative. The content covered was relevant and I was reminded of the correct moving and assisting techniques as well as been shown how to use different equipment to safely move and assist the people I support. I feel that the bed was unsuitable for practical training and demonstrations. On more than one occasion during the training, the bed tipped whilst in use which is obviously unsafe. I don't think that this sets a very good example for not only new members of staff but also, staff who are new to moving and assisting. Also, the hoist was not in proper working order which again does not set a very good example to new staff and goes against everything that the training teaches.

I found the course very engaging and interesting. Stevie was excellent, clear and empathetic to what was being spoken about. He made us all feel at ease and really felt like he cared about what was being discussed. I would have no hesitation in recommending this course with Stevie to anyone.
