Knowledgeable, supportive tutors are a consistent strength, with attendees praising clear explanations, real-world examples and helpful guidance throughout their learning. They find the training informative, well structured and often practical, with site visits and face-to-face sessions helping connect theory to workplace responsibilities. Flexible online study suits people in full-time roles, while responsive staff provide strong assessment and technical support. Some feel the online material is text-heavy and would benefit from more interactive content, but learners broadly apply the knowledge confidently at work.

I thoroughly enjoyed this course and I found it incredibly valuable. The content was well structured, engaging and delivered in a clear and concise manner. Each module helped me to solidify my understanding of the concepts. A special thanks to Frederico Almeida for his outstanding support and quick response to my questions throughout the course. Overall, this course exceeded my expectations and has significantly contributed to my personal and professional development. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to deepen their skills in this area. Wishing the entire team all the best in the future. Remi Wasielewski

Good course and like how you can complete in your own time and the online training is great for full time workers. the Power points just feel they need to be shorter as I felt I struggled to take in all the information over the full length of the video. Also I only found a way to interact with my tutor near the end of the course when I struggled on a couple of questions. maybe this information needs to be clear from the start of the course. but overall good resources.

Well run course, tutors were very knowledgeable, good at get their message across to the students. They allowed everyone to have their say / input in the course. For someone of an older age, this style of learning suited me better, classroom and distance learning through online session enabled me to make better use of what was being taught.

Some alignment to Heavy Clay Sector required which will be possible through collaboration with images supplied by sector operators. Consideration of time efficiency for quarry visit and assessing alternative 'appraisal' plan. Reduce Aberfan info. Some less applicable catastrophic event videos considered to be less suitable. Tom really portrayed the geotech elements well, from a text book method to practical experience which really helped land the course well.

Really benefitted from this course. Much improved from when I did my level 4 in 2015. The format was good. Maybe needed a little more time from first face to face to the assessment but overall found the content at the right level and easy to follow the on line learning.
