A fantastic trainer and a really interesting and informative day! I must admit I wasn't really looking forward to having to do a training course on a Saturday and was surprised by how much I enjoyed it and how much I learnt. The venue was great for me as I came by train and it was a quick walk from the station!
The trainer was fantastic, very knowledgeable, very engaging, able to answer all questions and was approachable and friendly, clearly knew his stuff! The venue had good parking, though the room was quite small, chairs cramped together (low uncomfortable chairs, not good for back) and was difficult to see all demonstrations sitting in the second row, maybe chairs in a horseshoe would be better? But overall course was very informative.
Stephen was great. His knowledge was incredible and I've left the course remembering so much info!!
Might be better in a venue with more woodland. Danny the trainer was fantastic and accommodated my physical needs. (Waiting for new knees)
Good range of topics covered relevant to what we need as forest school leaders. Good amount of practical scenarios to practice skills. Venue not great - facilities weren’t great and no woodland to practice scenarios in the same environment that we are working in.
Since it is forest school first aid, it would be good to have done the training in woodland rather than indoors.
Really enthusiastic and knowledgeable trainer. Enjoyed the whole course.
Very informative and really useful to hear of real life scenarios. Covered a lot of bases without being overwhelming. Lots of practical exercises to really ensure information was being retained.
Good information Well presented Enjoyed the practicals
