It helped me understand that the steps I took recently were the correct steps and that I am very grateful for the time the trainer has taken and the company invited me to attend the training. I believe this course should be available to everyone. It has helped me know I can ask a person the question are you thinking of suicide.

Overall the training was very helpful and Vas is an excellent facilitator. I didn't feel embarrassed or on edge about asking questions or getting things 'wrong'.

I know Refuge run Mental Wellbeing sessions, however I do believe that Refuge could do more regarding their staff well being, especially the line of work we do, having to deal with what is happening with the world, trying to manage with the cost of living crisis. We focus on how we can help the survivors we work with, but some thought to the staff who may also be struggling too financially as well as mentally and emotionally.
