excellent course for anyone who wants to know about suicide and prevention

Great course and it has helped me to have a better understanding of a very challenging subject. I hope I will be of some help to students who find themselves in this difficult place. It was good to see that this course was evidence-based and researched.

Enjoyed the structure and feel more confident in handling situations covered that I might experience

I worry that this training assumes (in the majority) that this person either hasn't felt suicidal before, or has never told anyone that they have felt suicidal. This excludes the group said to be at most risk, those who have previously demonstrated suicidal behaviours. It also assumes that the continuum of suicide takes place over a period longer than a few minutes, which often isn't the case.
