Steve is a fantastic instructor. This is the second course I've attended where he has been the trainer and I would look to book on to courses he is delivering. He is unflappable, and has such a great skill of knowledge and delivery technique.

Before the course I had low confidence in helping someone out. Now I am sure I could make a difference, and give a person more options, the hope to stay alive, and the will to move forwards. Valuable training. Thankyou Ian.Response : Many thanks Andy, I am very glad to help you on your personal mission to be a high quality suicide first aider and advocate.

Overall the training session was beneficial, however for myself and my team who are professionals in a Mental Health Team I would have hoped to go into more depth and detail of suicide and suicide behaviours.

The course itself is beneficial to re-cap on the mental wellbeing of the persons needs, musts thoughts and how to approach it. It has allowed me to have this knowledge in the back of my mind to help with future circumstances.

Really useful piece of training. Well delivered, and drew well on the experience in the room. Really liked Christo's style, I'd be very happy to know he was at the controls next time I get on a plane!

I was really impressed with the SFA course. Even though its a hard topic to talk about and learn about, I feel alot more confident in approaching and talking to a person having a crisis or contemplating suicide. And also to help them go down the right path to get the help they need.
