Rocio has been an exellent teacher and the course has been very instructive. its hard work and sometimes Rocio wil ask us questions in Spanish which are difficult to answer if I dont understand the question being asked. I like the structure which Rocio is taking us through. It's going to be a long journey to become reasonably proficient but this has been a good start.

I had the absolute pleasure of spending a week in this little slice of English paradise. The teachers were not only incredibly skilled, but also genuinely kind and supportive. I never expected to feel so at home, it truly felt like being welcomed into a family

I have studied Italian at Marlow Language Centre for around 4 years. In that time all my lessons have been with Paola and over that period to accommodate my own personal requirements I have had a mix of class lessons, 1:1 and online sessions. Paola's teaching, guidance, direction and kindness are unparalleled. Her professionalism consistently goes above and beyond with her taking time even in a class lesson to ensure a tailored individual approach is provided to each person and their particular learning requirements. In every lesson I have taken with Paola it is evident that she has extensively and thoughtfully prepared the lesson with the aim of engaging myself and class mates fully while always ensuring we are all left with a love for both the Italian language and culture. I continue to take lessons with Paola to hone in on the technical proficiency of the language together with ensuring I am able to put all of this into practice in a conversational setting and to also express my Italian in writing to a very good standard. My thanks to Paola and all the staff at MLC who cultivate a fabulous, welcoming, learning environment. Grazie mille!

Being able to learn in a small class of 3 is the perfect opportunity. The three of us have about the same level of ability and the same desire to learn so we are making great progress. Andreia, or teacher, is also excellent at judging how hard and how far to challenge us and when to consolidate.

I enjoy my lessons with Vangelis enormously. I do make him veer off course by asking too many questions though.

The teaching is super-helpful. Michele is appropriately persistent with pronunciation, and he shares his expertise in broader contexts to build our knowledge of the language and it's structure. I've wanted to learn Italian 'properly' for many years and I'm enjoying starting to achieve this goal.

My one to one lessons are just what I need to make progress at my peace. I can practice a lot of speaking and conversation (even make a lot of mistakes!), while also reviewing specific grammar topics that I found difficult or need more practice. Sophie is very nice and I enjoy my classes with her. The venue is a great space for me to come and benefit from face to face sessions, and I appreciate the free onsite parking. The only improvement I would suggest is to have some form of online calendar where students can view teacher's availabilities and confirmed lessons. Ideally one could even book or reschedule lessons through the online tool.
