Quite relatable to the workplace tho the lady shoudnt be in same rom as the printer but i guess not all offices are the same, and in some case even in big offices they are beside where some people sitResponse : Hi Kay - thanks for your feedback on the video Dealing with Distractions. I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for your comments about the printer. Whilst the scene is based on a real workplace situation where a printer was situated near to someone who is trying to concentrate on their work. the printer is really intended to be a symbol of any kind of distraction you experience at work. The message of the video is to think about how to minimise distractions in a practical way, enabling you to focus on your priorities. We've got other videos, podcasts and interactive activities on time management and personal effectiveness - do have a look around and try using the search function on your WATCH & GO site.

Very clear and easy to follow. Some great tips and advice in here.Response : Hello Deborah Thanks for your feedback. It's such an interesting topic, too. Very useful video, in that it covered the different types of motivation and development needs, from people who are happy at their current level, to needing to improve skills, to seeking promotion. Was a bit uncomfortable with the example where the woman who wanted to finish early was nudged towards faster typing and considered not to be a candidate for leadership skills.Response : Hi Emer Thanks for your feedback on this video, Agreeing Development Objectives. I have re-watched the video with a special focus on the scene you refer to - very happy to discuss this with you. Let me know a good day and time for you. Catherine

Sometimes it can also be helpful to discuss emotions about work with a trusted colleague (in addition to talking to friends/partner, or journalling).Response : Hi Emer Your response to the 'Talking about feelings at work' podcast arrived in my inbox today. Sorry I didn't mention it when we met earlier. Thanks for your comments - you make a good point about journalling, which we don't mention. Sukh Pabial who is the guest in this podcast also recorded 'Improving Relationships at Work' with us too - and that was the top performing podcast title across the whole of 2023. Thanks for all your thoughtful and enthusiastic response to WATCH & GO resources.

I hadn't undertaken training on behaviour based interviews before. Although I have undertaken interviews in this manner previously, I found learning about the technique formally interesting and the training material useful.Response : Freddie Thanks for the positive feedback. Glad to hear that you find this interviewing technique useful. Regards, Esther

I was already aware of some of the content, but it was useful to be reminded!Response : Emma Thanks for the feedback. As you say whilst you often 'know' the content it's helpful to be reminded from time to time. As a team we sit and listen to one of our podcasts every Tuesday when we are together. It helps to remind us of our content, acts as a prompt on the topic and helps us take a screen break. This week we listened to the Emotional Intelligence podcast and it made us all reflect on the way we respond to each other and how we react to others. Speak soon, Esther
