Really useful course lots of practical tips that can be used in everyday work. By using lots of tests it was an opportunity to have a go and spot reoccurring errors so you are more aware of your own areas of weakness. Also kept the course engaging and enjoyable

It’s very intense, I feel like we can have a 2 min off every 3/4 tasks to boost concentration

I wish I had been on this training sooner as I have worked at UoN for over 10 years and have picked up habits and ways of working which I will now have to re-evaluate!! I found the training extremely interesting and eye-opening.

I enjoyed the activities - it was a bit like being in school again! However I did find the tasks in the first session, (numerical) a bit unnecessarily repetitive. The second session was much better paced and more varied. I would have liked to know a little bit more about the science being done if the claims. Statistics on accuracy per peer groups for instance as one colleague asked if the tutor knew anything about how focus/accuracy changes with age but she didn't know. Not essential, but could add more to takeaway and share with others.
