Minor feedback - no butter with jacket potato. Other than that course was fantastic.
Very good course, informative, excellent use of all types of test sets including latest modern set
Course was excellent, getting exposure to different relays was very beneficial. One benefit would possibly be to do some programming/testing on differential relays and motor managers. These are 2 protection systems that we use a lot on site.
Excellent course. Very beneficial for my role. Could do with more variety of relays, ie differential, distance protection.
More could be fit into the time slots e. Finishing later 430pm
Overall the course was good. Possible improvements to consider: crib sheets for each piece of equipment i.e. each tester and each relay. The crib sheets could include menu structure of each item. Other improvements could be to have more structure to the Tues to Fri sessions. Perhaps half a day max on each relay allowing time to see more of the equipment.
For the advanced training course it would be nice to do practical testing of the advanced protection features. E.g. Distance protection, Differential Protection, directional overcurrent and reverse power testing. Also I think it would be beneficial to go through the connections on the test block rather than being pre wired, I think it would be beneficial to have candidates wire the test blocks themselves to better help understand what cables are required for different tests.
Excellent course, with a very knowledgeable tutor in both practical and theoretical elements of electrical protection, across the range of relays from old to new. Would definitely recommend
Good course, learned a lot of beneficial information that will assist with overseeing testing by contractors at my workplace. Thanks to Allen
