4.9 (545 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Its sensitive, supportive handling of difficult mental-health topics stands out: attendees say knowledgeable, approachable trainers create a safe, relaxed environment for open discussion. Interactive activities, case studies, role play, videos and workbook exercises make the learning practical and engaging, while the ALGEE framework and take-away materials provide clear tools to use at work. Attendees report stronger understanding and confidence in recognising concerns, starting difficult conversations and supporting young people and others. The content is extensive, but the pace generally feels manageable.

I found Ange was competent in what she was teaching and the materials were extensive to compliment the slides and discussions. The exercises were very thought provoking igniting a valued discussion with the group.

The course was very informative and left me confident in the way I already use some techniques with learners, the one thing I really value for this course was ALGEE, this was a game changer. Steve was very aware of al of us as he picked up certian things on each and every member of the group. Very Empathic man with very poignant life experiences. Thank you Steve you have brought new light to the way to handle when leaarners are in crisis. Thank you very Much Andrea

Response: Thank you so much for your lovely words. It was great to train with you.

Ange is brilliant with people. She is patient, knowledgeable, approachable and excellent listener. I love how she operates an open door policy and promotes self care to ensure healthy mental well-being of the first aiders post ans though out the course. Ange is good at reading her audience and handles cognitive overload very well. I would not just recommend the course but also the instructions. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge and experience throughout the session.
