Its sensitive, supportive handling of difficult mental-health topics stands out: attendees say knowledgeable, approachable trainers create a safe, relaxed environment for open discussion. Interactive activities, case studies, role play, videos and workbook exercises make the learning practical and engaging, while the ALGEE framework and take-away materials provide clear tools to use at work. Attendees report stronger understanding and confidence in recognising concerns, starting difficult conversations and supporting young people and others. The content is extensive, but the pace generally feels manageable.

I found the course interesting and it gave the relevant information required to allow myself to support our students in my workplace. I found the communication with Mrs Kelly Foulkes -Williams was excellent. Clear communication and this was filtered through to the learners I felt that we all communicated well. I enjoyed the group exercise. I found fom a personal point of view I was able to fully engage in the course. Mrs Williams was very knowledgeable on the subject of First aid and mental health. We were able to given time to give our answers or opinions on the topics discussed. Mrs Williams was always aware of time and we had breaks during the course. I really enjoyed the course and feel I have more knowledgeable of First aid mental Health

The course was really interesting even though emotionally intense. There were plenty of breaks and occasions to reflect on the content. Angela is a convincing speaker and made the training engaging.

Zarqa was a fantastic facilitator of this course which she delivered very effectively and in a sensitive, skilful manner. I learnt a lot of new facts and tools from the course including the ALGEE action steps which was very helpful to learn; equipping me to effectively help support someone as a mental health first aider.

I think there was a lot of talking and a lot of information which I know they tried to switch up with actives however there was times where I felt like I was taking in so much information and really simpler information. Loved the course overall though and really injoying it
