Youth MHFA face-to-face reviews

4.9 (537 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Its sensitive, supportive handling of difficult mental-health topics stands out: attendees say knowledgeable, approachable trainers create a safe, relaxed environment for open discussion. Interactive activities, case studies, role play, videos and workbook exercises make the learning practical and engaging, while the ALGEE framework and take-away materials provide clear tools to use at work. Attendees report stronger understanding and confidence in recognising concerns, starting difficult conversations and supporting young people and others. The content is extensive, but the pace generally feels manageable.

The course was perfectly pitched for what I had hoped to learn during the time. The course trainer Ange was fantastic, patient and empathic with all of the subjects covered. I have thought about the subjects covered during the training quite frequently since last week and this has brought a new dimension to my professional work. I would recommend the course highly to anyone working with young people in the sector.

Training was brilliant, very informative and useful. Steve was very engaging and knowledgable The venue was cold on the first day, and was interrupted by another event towards the end of the second day

Response: Many thanks Emma - you were a great group!

Venue was a let down. Random bloke walked in first day and was clearly under the influence. Funeral event on second day afternoon was very loud and a distraction. Fair play to the trainer for motoring through.
