AI summary of reviews

Attendees particularly value the practical use of the ALGEE framework, scenarios and discussions, which make difficult mental-health topics approachable and give them confidence to recognise distress and start sensitive conversations with young people. They describe knowledgeable, empathetic trainers who create a relaxed, non-judgemental space, alongside a well-structured blend of self-study, webinars and breakout activities. The handbook and resources support application at work, though some prefer face-to-face delivery.

The course was very informative and i have increased my knowledge about the issues relating to mental health and mental health first aid. I enjoyed completing the modules, the format was excellent providing information to specific topics and testing of knowledge questions. I would highly recommend this course.

overall it was a very well put together course. the modules before hand helped to give an insight into what was going to be covered in the live part and with the knowledge and discussions from the instructers it helped to give a clearer more deatiled approach to dealing with a given situation. considering the course content it wasnt too overwhelming with information/case studies etc to confuse the brain. it was just enough to help guide you into thinking the best approach to things.

A very interesting and eye-opening course. The different approach of the modules between independent learning and group discussion worked well.

Very practical, discussion based course which was very informative and engaging! The instructors were great, attentive and always took time to check in and check understanding. The combination of online resources and face-to-face worked very well.

The course was delivered very well, very engaging in the breakout rooms discussing with peers our thoughts about the modules we studied. I feel reassured about how I would approach a person struggling with mental health.

Found the course really insightful and useful. My only feedback would be to send an email out to state that certain modules needed to be completed before the start of the course.

The training was extremely informative and well executed. It has made me feel better prepared within my role to better support someone within a Mental Health capacity. I learnt a lot of things that will be extremely useful for the future.

Zarqa & Sam were extremely engaging and positive. I enjoyed the independent learning and online group work. It would have been nice to do face to face as it is heavy doing it online. They championed well-being and self care which was great! Huge well done and thank you
