I loved this session and the 5 days flew by. Really excited about getting out and delivering this now to to others
I thought that the training was great. Was dreading the 9-5 schedule Mon-Fri but in reality the regular breaks, calm, relaxed atmosphere and engaging topics really helped the week pass with ease. Thanks for a great week and course, look forward to putting this into practice. Thank you once again to Rhys and Gwen, Such a great tag team :-)
Great course, definitely one I would recommend others to undertake. I'm looking forward to delivering my first training session. So just want to say thank you to both Rhys and Gwen for the delivery of the training. :)
Thank you both for such a great week of what could have been tough with it being online but it really wasn't. I have valued listening to both Gwen and Rhys and learning from their experiences. A lot of really helpful advice was given as well. A really great course!
I'm so glad to have been able to participate and feel it has benefited me greatly both on a personal and professional level.
The MHFA Facilitators created such a safe space to explore some pretty difficult topics. Understanding we all have mental health has been enlightening. Knowing what to do in situations of mental distress has been empowering. I feel inspired to challenge the stigma of mental illness and distress in more insightful ways. Thank you both so much. Nikki :)
This is a fabulous course and I highly recommend it.
Fun and materials, learning made accessible and focus on purpose of the training.
1. Some of the discussions and tangents were really interesting, it would have been nice to have been nice to explore a few of these in more depth. However, that would extra length to the training and require participants to be online longer, which brings a raft of other issues and 'online fatigue'. Hopefully, the yearly conference will allow these discussions/tangents. 2. For the future, I would like to see fonts (on handouts and powerpoints) and PPT backgrounds to be altered. (Backgrounds to be pastel, and a friendlier font adopted (Calibri / Candara / Verdana (there are others). The current set-up is not Dyslexia / Irelen's friendly. Which limits inclusivity aspects of the resources. This (which is out of your hands) is the only reason for giving 4 stars to 'about the course'.
Really enjoyed it and looking forward to getting started.
