I have attended both CeMap courses and would highly recommend Peter Slater to anyone. I passed all CeMap exams first time. Not only did I pass but I feel I have a well rounded knowledge of finance now. Peter doesn't just teach you to pass the exam he wants you to be a good advisor.
Training room got a little hot at times.
We are in the midst of a very hot summer and there was no air conditioning in the training room that worked at all, many complaints to the reception and many promises of "maintenance" being informed, absolutely nothing happened, didn't even see the "maintenance" people, wonder if they actually have any?? The very uncomfortable room was a terrible learning environment.

Unfortunately, the air conditioning had a fault which was unable to be fixed straight away, and although you may not have seen the maintenance team who were trying to deal with the issue without causing any disruption to your training, I can confirm that every effort was made to rectify the fault. Paul is an amazing teacher! His stories and tips helped me pass all my exams! However the course should be over 7 days rather than 5 as it’s very rushed.
Terry is an absolute fantastic trainer and a really great guy! Very knowledgeable and has plenty of time for every student! I felt so confident going into my exams and passed first time! Highly recommend the course, the literature provided is fantastic easy to read and great mock questions to make you prepared for the exam!
Great course the only think I think I personally would have benefited from was being asked questions about the subject matter each day, however with time constraints terry was excellent and always offered extra help where we required it.
Fantastic course, Pete was a great trainer and gives you lots of support. Would recommend this course! The reason I marked the facilities down, the chairs gave me terrible back pain after a week.
Just all round brilliant. Every little bit was spot on. No room for improvement. The trainer knew their stuff and was excellent in how he taught the subject.
