There no way I could have done the CeMap within such a short space of time without simply academy and Alan Downing.
Alan Downing is by far the best teacher I’ve ever had. I was thrown out of school ten years ago, and haven’t been back in a classroom environment since. I was really nervous and worried about how I’d get on, as well as my (lack of) knowledge in comparison to others on the course. Alan made us all feel at ease straight away. He’s engaging, encouraging and really knows his stuff. I never once felt silly for asking questions, and he was never impatient with anyone, no matter how many times he had to explain something. If all my teachers were like this when I was younger - perhaps I’d have stayed in school!
I felt this course was very in depth and covered all areas of the study book.

I found this course extremely useful in grasping the main concepts for CeMAP 1. The location and facilities were fantastic, being in a comfortable space really helped as the course is intense content wise. Brendan was very knowledgeable and efficient in his methods and I enjoyed his tips and stories that brought the content to life. I really felt the whole process was seamless and the course exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend!

Pete was an excellent trainer. Kept us engaged and attentive throughout despite the heavy nature of the content. He and was able to make the material relevant and interesting using his own background and knowledge - and appeared really invested in ensuring everyone had the best chance at passing successfully.
