I felt my trainer was generally a nice person but his teaching methods did not suit my learning style. I had hoped for more engagement throughout the course to ensure I could grasp a good understanding (maybe a powerpoint presentation, productive quiz's to test our knowledge after each topic covered). I personally struggle to absorb and retain information when just going through a book and having stories/case studies told as examples. The complete course material did not get covered within the designated week provided and therefore as a whole, I feel that the course should have been extended to ensure all material was explained/understood better and the delivery of the course was adapted to suit different learning styles. After sitting CEMAP 1, I need to resit unit 2 and after sitting CEMAP 2, I need to resit unit 3,4 and 6. It has left me feeling very deflated and frustrated

David Beever was an excellent tutor, I enjoyed how he related the material to real world situations, that for sure helped my learning process. Mr. Beever was also very approachable and open to questions/discussions. I appreciate the course pack received and all the materials, I found it very thoughtful that I got a pen with a highlighter as well.
Alan was an amazing trainer. Definitely not death by powerpoint which so many trainers guilty of. His knowledge and relatable stories which helped you remember key info were invaluable. I was booked in with him next week for 2 and 3. - absolutely gutted that this was cancelled due to strikes and no additional date close to this date has been offered. I would of given simply a higher rating were if it not for the fact that after cancelling my next course that no sooner face to face courses were available. I felt this was poor.
Response: Dear Debbie, thank you for taking the time to provide us with your positive feedback regarding your tutor. Unfortunately, due to train strikes a number of students could not commute to our venue therefore we were left with no alternative but to transfer your CeMAP 2&3 event to online delivery. For those who wished to continue their studies in the classroom a complimentary place was offered on the next available start date at the same venue. We are sorry to hear we could not meet your expectations however certain scenarios are beyond our reasonable control.
The course was really great, our trainer Luke was brilliant, he was explaining everything with clear, real life examples that helped understand the topics that were discussed. During the exam, there were a few questions that were not discussed or were in the book but overall it was a great course. I managed to pass with merit the next day after the course it finished so I am very happy. I can not wait for the next 2 modules.
Alan is a really great tutor and has the greatest methods to learn the material for CeMAP 1! Will be recommending SimplyAcademy to others!

Thank you. I passed all my Cemap exams first time. Overall I received 4 Merits 1 Distinction and 2 passes. It is overwhelming at the time and you feel rubbish. Even if doing this training programme you still need to put in lots of study time. I wouldn’t have passed without this training you really need the interaction and explanations and reassurance of a tutor.
Having just passed CeMAP 2 & 3, I can honestly say that I couldn't have done it without the help of Peter. His knowledge was very good, and his delivery was excellent. I have to disagree with 'Anonymous A' on Nov 30 about time management, as some students themselves were late arriving, either at the start of the day, or from breaks during the day, so this did impact on the actual teaching time.
