SFA 02 - Suicide First Aid: Understanding Suicide Intervention Reviews

I’ve learned new techniques and feel better able to perform suicide First Aid.

As a trainee EMD I would have liked to have had more examples/information specific to my role within the control room.

Lots of practical and real life examples

I really enjoyed the course and found it engaging and informative. I feel as though I have learnt a lot and I can take this training into my personal life, which is what I wanted. Steph filled me with confidence and she handled such a serious topic with care and kindness, making it easier to talk about. I would definitely consider gaining the qualification that goes alongside this.

I would like to know more on how to support someone in crisis who doesnt want to open up nor share their thoughts

Informative study day. Worth attending

A thought-provoking day with lots of useful take-aways for practical use in my day job after due reflection, particularly at this particular juncture as I am working with what seems a cohort of clients that seems to be ever increasing in both risk and complexity.

A good course with useful analysis of suicide and helpful structure for practical use

The tutor was great, she answered asll queries and questions proffesionally. The only thing i would say is the joining instructions are not very clear, i arrived early and was sent to 3 different buildings before finding out where to go which then made me late, maybe a map of the correct building and parking woud help.
