First rate. I don't think this course is for everyone due to the difficult nature of the subject being discussed. However, there is clear benefit from attending it which students will be able to apply in all personal and professional circumstances. I was shocked that 5% of the population may be considering suicide at any one time - this shows its relevance. Understanding how to approach someone at risk, using empathy, listening skills with a plan is the key outcome I have taken from the course.
i thought it was useful and i will recommend it to my team
The was well managed and delivered, engaging and informative. An essential skill imparted.
I’m very happy about gaining this knowledge of understanding Suicide first Aid
A really great course that I feel has equipped me well to deal with a challenging situation more competently than I would have before.
I really enjoyed (if that's the right word) the course. It was well prepared and allowed me to be challenged but in a safe environment.
It was excellent. The trainer was very warm and lightened the heavy subject matter.
It was a difficult subject exceptionally well delivered by Nell. The taboo has been removed from the subject of suicide The connection between the participants was amazing, and we (the attendees) were sensitively led through a potentially difficult process. Thank you
