A well organised training; covered all the main suicide topics
Really felt I learnt a lot about having the confidence to approach suicide in a more open and structured way
I enjoyed it, it was really useful and I feel I have a better idea of what to do if presented with this.
A really good and informative training session and I feel that I have learned a lot.
A potentially difficult course and subject presented in a very matter of fact way, which is the take away that I have taken from it. To be direct and matter of fact whilst being empathic.
The training is just the pick of the iceberg, the context is more extensive and deeply and very complex
the tutor was really friendly and explained everything very well.
I am glad I have been given the opportunity to receive this important training. The analogies that the instructor chose were very easy to understand - for example if someone is unwell through physical injury, then there is no hesitation with first aid, and the same should apply for mental health first aid too.
