Very helpful training to support young people i work with to prevent suicide. I will use the intervention with the young people i work with.
Training was very friendly and interactive with much consideration for our wellbeing during and after the course.
A course that will no doubt give me useful tools in my job, delivered professionally and in an engaging way.
I really enjoyed this course and the trainer was wonderful- thank you.
Felt it gave me some good skills and knowledge to use if needed and was nice the group came from different companies and had variety of experience. Think as some people in the group hadn't experienced some of the topics covered, it would of more beneficial for them to know the basics before. Trainer was personable and friendly and gave good examples and ideas. She managed the group well too.
The training was really good and i learnt a lot.
I was a bit apprehensive about attending the course as I didn't know what to expect and suicide seems to be something I would previously have found difficult to talk about. But Alison dispelled a lot of myths and detailed the role of suicide first aiders so I now feel a lot more confident about approaching anyone who may be thinking about suicide.
A good course for people who have no experience in dealing with suicide and people contemplating it
Really useful and insightful. I learnt a lot and feel more confident in helping a person intending to end their life.
it has made me feel more confident towards approaching the subject of suicide
