I will recommend this course to all of my peers and I felt privileged to be in the company of my colleagues who care so much about the service we provide.
This course could be triggering for someone that has experienced suicide. I think that the tutor was supportive in acknowledging this.
Laura is an exceptional trainer who showed care and consideration to all, thank you Laura. I found it extremely powerful to ask the question - Sometimes people who..... think about suicide, are you thinking about suicide? I've answered yes to the accreditation and will be speaking to Optivo Learn Team to follow this up.

An 8 hour session can sometimes feel too long, but Laura ensures the time and pace flows and this particular course and the time went quickly. I picked up lots of tips and tools to deal with suicide first aid and feel better equipped to give my residents an even better service. The information given can be utilised by me in my professional life and personally too.
