I found the course really interesting and I feel more confident in being aware of the signs of someone feeling suicidal. As listening is one of the main ways of connecting with a suicidal person are there listening courses out there? If so can we be made aware of them in the course. I am interested in finding out more about the City & Guilds course but as yet have not enrolled on it.

I am glad that I was asked to attend this course and that was only because I had a couple of incidents at work where I had to talk/interact with the people involved

Very good course, worth doing and understanding even as someone who has experience of suicide and working in the field it offers some really useful learning points and perspectives.
