Paul delivered the course with care, and it was thoroughly enjoyable.
I'm really glad I participated in this training. It's easy to perhaps know what you'd do in these circumstances but it was very educational and enlightening to learn all the ways to manage suicide prevention. I think there are definitely gaps in my knowledge that are now filled and things that now seem so obvious such as acknowledging that death is an option to someone without the immediate panic that you've made them more likely to commit suicide.
The course itself from my point of view was very interesting and I took a lot away from it. I would encourage anyone to do this course and get as much out of i as i did.
Really informative and I feel much more prepared for my role and approaching these conversations with people.
Really valuable course that I can use in all parts of my life.
I shall be trying to give some input to the rest of my watch. As a whole though, I think it would be a very important training for our operational firefighters who do come across this more often face-to-face and sometimes in times of hitting that suicide point too
