I thought it was a really good course, I feel a lot more confident in this subject matter to talk to other about it and to use if needed in the future.

Great CPD, should be mandatory for all Pastoral staff and potentially form tutors

Totally amazing. The best course I have attended in a long time.

Overall I feel much more confident now moving forwards in being able to discuss suicide and suicidal thoughts with pupils but also to ensure that I know about how to signpost for support, also remembering to take self-care more as a crucial factor in helping others. Thank you!

For me personally more time in the chat rooms would have been good. It was great to 'rub off' ideas & situations with discussions to add to our knowledge as well as practice or discuss the progress we were dealing with. Having others in the chat room when you can't be there in person, gives time for reflection and for questioning whether or not your understanding is in the right format or if you need to change any consideration you may have initially, which could initiate more questions, but thought the course was informative and interesting. I feel much more confident about utilising this information, and have already been able to have others show interest in completing this learning. Thank you

A very positive experience, like the blended approaches to learning

Very interesting and informative. Lots of info, including things I hadn't heard before. Was able to practice conversations, which enabled us to build confidence within the session. Well paced, and the tutor engaged every participant.

I found the course very helpful. I definitely feel more equipped to have a conversation about suicide with someone experiencing these thoughts and also feel more able to challenge the stigma surrounding suicide
