SFA02-Suicide First Aid: Understanding Suicide Intervention Reviews

This has been the most interesting and useful training I have done for a long time. Alison is a fantastic facilitator who kept our attention and interest for the whole time. She kept it buoyant:)

Excellent training day. I feel well equipped to deal with young people who are having suicidal thoughts or who intend to end their lives by suicide.

I would just like to Thank Ester for today. It is a tough subject to cover especially through Teams.

Despite realising how beneficial the course could be I was not particularly looking forward to it. However the day flew by. Alison was very engaging and clearly immensely experienced. I now feel able to broach the subject of suicide and have strategies and dialogue to practice so I feel more confident and be in a better position to offer support.

We feel we have gained a lot of knowledge, which will be useful in our work place and beyond. We look forward to sharing the information with our colleagues.

I really enjoyed the session, it was good to complete the training with colleagues from my organisation and it has started some discussions that has already affected how we will be working in the future. We got through a lot of course content but it didn't feel arduous or hard work at any point and we were given time and space to reflect.

This was a small group, which meant everyone had the opportunity to ask questions and share their own experiences. Very thought provoking topic.

Found the course very useful and informative. Have taken away many new skills and enhanced previous skills to better my proffessional practise.

Great course. I have the foundations needed to be able to now have a conversation with someone in crisis.
