Sarah was lovely and made everyone feel at ease with a very difficult subject, the course was delivered in a positive manner with everyone able to put their opinions across.

Really useful both professionally and personally to be more aware of signs and behaviours and to have at least some information and skills to approach this subject/what to do with more confidence.

loved this course and really think it's been beneficial for my new job as a bus driver. I will wear the orange badge as a conversation starter and that I'm a safe person to be approached.

I think this subject should be made available to more officers and possibly refreshed on a regular basis.

I think some level of MHFA and SFA training should be offered to as many as possible to help break the taboo on talking about suicide.

Thought Susan the tutor presented the course very well and allowed time for discussion and to answer any questions that came up. We were also given links and information about the orange badge, the City & Guilds 4 and about the MHFA Assist course as well.

Very helpful, and helps with confidence to feel I can improve on helping someone who is suicidal

I found the course to be informative and gave me a direction moving forward and highlighted my strengths and some weaknesses in which i am mindful to work on. I fell more confident in knowing what to do if i was faced with someone who was having suicidal thoughts.
