Very informative course which has better equipped me to better understand whats going on and what someone may be feeling as they are and importantly how to keep them safe by allowing them to be heard and in control

A really good course. I know it couldn't cover specific examples/some of the persistent callers we have that raise suicide. But it will be good to have conversations outside of the training, and this can only equip the team more with the tools they need to feel supported on suicidal calls. A really well run and interesting training course.

The content was good, but because had already done a MHFAers course and refresh the experience of the course was not so new, but would not change format or delivery as think that is on the money.

Good trainer felt confident in his skills. There was a reality in the course around personal styles of learners and how following a plan to engage for some learners would be secondary to a personal style

Excellent course which has given me the confidence to approach the conversation if I am concerned that someone may be thinking of suicide. Thanks, Sally.

Great session and Emma was great! She shared her experiences and understanding throughout the training and this made others in the group do the same due to the safe space she had created. I now feel more confident about supporting others should they be in crisis.

I think it should be called suicide prevention training as that is clearer and a more accurate description of what we were taught.
