A useful reminder of the importance of building a network, finding key stakeholders and making conversation matter.

Great facilitator, encouraged open and honest discussions throughout. The material was really good and gave me a lot of food for thought. Really good break out exercises and everyone participated brilliantly.

Liz was an excellent facilitator and the session was interactive and engaging. I was initially apprehensive about how this would apply to myself as I have never considered being on a board. However, this course has made me realise that not only is it possible but something I would now consider. As well as the boardroom aspects, there was a lot that I found will be applicable to all aspects of my role and career. The Components of Leadership, in particular the High Challenge/ High Support section, Resilience and Managing Stakeholders were all really interesting and is something that I will definitely use in the future. I will definitely be recommending this to colleagues.

To be honest, I’ll probably never use the commitment trackers - and if I was to use them I’d use one or two. No issue with them being in, and clearly we don’t spend any time on them, but they don’t seem to bring much value. Perhaps we should just have an example of a single commitment trackers per module to encourage folk to try one.

Didn't agree with all of it fully, but I voiced dissent and discussed differences during the training

Really helped bring a number of components of previous modules together but in. Boardroom context.
