Practical, hands-on learning stands out, with attendees using real PLC software, rigs and projects to apply programming skills across several platforms. They praise the tutors’ deep industry knowledge, patience and supportive style, which makes complex concepts accessible while allowing learners to work things out independently. The course is engaging, well structured and useful for building confidence to program, test and fault-find at work. Less people in the class would enable the tutor to give more attention to individuals. I feel the class was too big for the intensity of the subject complexity.

It might not be the courses fault but I would of liked a more practical experience instead of programming for the 2 weeks as I wont be programming a PLC in industry.

I would have liked a course manual on day 1 with glossary of terms, worked examples of ladder diagrams with explanations of each step. How each part integrated with the other. Nice colourful pictures. So I could have a read in the evenings to reinforce my knowledge.

*from a venue point of view. Babies crying next door is quite distracting. *the classroom was well ventilated but at the cost of getting quite cold. *would have liked more fault diagnoses and interrogation instruction. hands tied by ELCAS and work commitments with regards to that though. *a good foundation level and appreciation of PLCs, would like to do more with this subject.

Food was good, but 1 item is not enough!
